Plain-language terms for this website and the free BASIC apps.

1. What these terms cover

These terms cover the KHBROS website and the free BASIC editions of our apps. ADVANCED editions will be sold separately, under their own terms, when sales open. By using the site or an app you agree to these terms.

2. The free BASIC apps

  • BASIC editions are free to download and use, for personal or professional work, with no time limit.
  • We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use them on your own devices.
  • You may share a link to our downloads. Please do not repackage, resell or redistribute modified copies, and do not reverse-engineer the apps except where the law allows it.
  • We own the apps and their design. You own your content: the apps process it on your device.

3. ADVANCED and the waitlist

ADVANCED is not on sale yet. Joining the waitlist is not a purchase or a promise that a product will ship by a particular date. When sales open they will be governed by a separate licence and our refund policy.

4. No warranty

The apps and website are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We work hard to make them reliable, but you should keep your own backups, especially of anything you convert, move or back up with our tools.

5. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, KHBROS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or profits, arising from use of the apps or the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Third-party services and trademarks

Some apps work alongside other companies' products. Veil displays the official WhatsApp Web, and you remain responsible for following WhatsApp's own terms. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Apple, Mac, iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc. Android is a trademark of Google LLC. Microsoft, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and OneDrive are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. KHBROS is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

7. Your use of the site

Please do not misuse the website: no attempts to break it, overload it, or send spam through its forms.

8. Changes

We may update these terms, and will change the date on this page when we do. Because this is a draft, it will change before ADVANCED goes on sale.

9. Governing law and contact
