What it does
KPT is a large toolkit for people who build many decks, with tables, charts and Arabic and English text. BASIC puts the essentials in one ribbon tab: split and merge text, change case without losing your formatting, align and distribute, and format tables.
Every tool understands right-to-left text, including Arabic bullets and table cells. Everything else is visible in the tab as a locked button that tells you what it does.
Split a text box into paragraphs or lines, or merge several boxes into one.
Sentence, UPPERCASE, Title or lowercase, while your colours, fonts and sizes stay exactly as they are.
Align six ways, distribute with equal gaps, and make shapes the same size, width or height. The first shape you select is the reference.
Three colour presets, Navy, Slate and Charcoal, with a filled header, pale banded body and rules in the preset's colour.
Set text direction and alignment on shapes, bullets and table cells, Arabic included.
Every ADVANCED tool is visible in the tab as a locked button that opens a single alert saying what it does. Nothing appears at launch or on a timer.

FAQ
The first shape you select. Shift-click it first. With a rubber-band selection, the back-most shape counts as first.
No. Your colours, fonts and sizes stay as they are.
Yes. Direction, alignment and the table presets work on Arabic text, bullets and right-to-left tables.
No. There is no network helper in BASIC (Translate is an ADVANCED feature), and nothing is sent anywhere.
It installs the add-in into Office's system-wide Startup folder, which PowerPoint scans at launch. It never writes into PowerPoint's own container or registry.
Double-click Uninstall KPT Basic.command in /Library/Application Support/KPT/KPT Basic/. It removes only BASIC's files and leaves ADVANCED alone.
Yes. They are separate apps with their own settings, so installing, using or removing one never touches the other.
Quit PowerPoint completely (Cmd-Q) and open it again. The tab appears after View in the ribbon. If it is still missing, see the PowerPoint install guide or contact us.
