Veil Basic — private WhatsApp for Mac

Veil Basic is the free edition of Veil. It runs the official WhatsApp Web inside a privacy-first Mac app.

• Blur names, message previews, photos, messages and media — hover to reveal
• A floating eye button to show everything or blur again, and one-click cover of the whole window
• Notifications that show only the sender's name, never the message
• More privacy tools are available in Veil ADVANCED

Veil Basic installs into your Applications folder and connects only to web.whatsapp.com. Works on Apple silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 13 Ventura or later.
