KPT Basic is installed

Quit PowerPoint (Cmd-Q) and open it again. The KPT Basic tab appears after the View tab.

Select a text box and try Split, Case or Direction; select two or more shapes and try Align, Distribute or Same size (the first shape you select is the reference); click inside a table and open Format Table. Buttons with a lock are part of KPT ADVANCED: clicking one tells you what it does.

To remove it, open /Library/Application Support/KPT/KPT Basic/ and double-click Uninstall KPT Basic.command.

If the tab does not appear, the installer's log is /tmp/kpt-basic-install.log.
